About Students

NSU gets many good students as it is already a reputed university in Bangladesh. Some students are really world-class students, comparable to IBA ,Buet , medical students. This varsity is recognized not only in Bangladesh but also in China, Africa, Europe and North America. I have seen many foreign students. Some of them do the full degree, and some do non-degree courses in different semesters.

However, recently, for business purpose NSU is taking more students than before. Some unqualified students are also getting chance. It is actually deteriorating NSU reputations.

About Faculties

Only NSU in Bangladesh require North American MS or PhD degree for faculties. This is applicable for both full time and part time faculties. Though there are some European, Japanese, and Chinese degree holders are faculties in BBA, Engineering departments, most of them are North American degree holders. Nobody can be a faculty only by Bangladeshi degree.

Most of the faculties teaching methods, styles are good; nevertheless, there are some weak faculties too.

About Courses

Engineering courses are mostly research oriented. Some courses are available in computer, and telecommunications, which are not basically necessary for Bangladeshi corporations. Those courses could be relevant for research and developed countries.

BBA , MBA courses are mostly market oriented. Research is hardly inspired in business department.
